A Toast To Creativity and Those Who Will Change the World

This site is in support of creative people everywhere, brought to you by members of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services (V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media, 501c3) and Creativity Cafe; A New School and Edutainment and Broadcast Center for the Whole Family.

Thanks for all who have been cooperating, in collaboration and are manifesting aspects of Creativity Cafe with your heart, mind and spirit. Keep the faith. There are major forces at work to benefit creative people everywhere. I believe our synergy will be greatly accelerated if we had a SPECIALTY VENUE where CREATIVITY IS EXALTED.



There is SUCH a great need for INSPIRED CREATIVITY on the planet.  Creativity Cafe has always been envisioned as a TEDx kind of venue; where creative people presenting their works in all matter of ways and media - not only the spoken word -- but also thru experiences and audience interaction, will enable Earth's brilliance, waiting patiently in the wings for that divine moment, to express (and some, desperately seeking a vehicle for their creative expression and exposure will finally have their day thanks to the natural nurturing of those in Creativity Cafe.).

Creativity Cafe™ is based on PRONOIA and the idea we are here to be of service to each other. Its A physical and cyber emporium of excellence; a place where those sharing Conscious Creativity will rise to the surface (of any given Creativity Cafe venue that will populate the world like McDonalds). Self selected creative people will gather to share ideas and choose to take our stage(s) in the CCafe Venue Nework (OS) and thereby be broadcast thru CCTV and/or one of our affiliate outlets plus'ing our Mass Media Consciously Creative Communication.

Finally there will be a venue to "get your message" out there, and hopefully transmit some of the secrets our "audience members" turned "performer/mentor/educator" have discovered to navigate the challenges of body mind and soul… not to mention poisons spread by society, parents, friends, religious leaders and our our self sabotage, for judgments serving to thwart our creative expression and daring to be different.  A great book about the courage to be creative and be the change agent is CLIFF HAVENER'S "Meaning, The Secret To Being Alive" reviewed here.

It is just this Conscious Creativity that will set us free and liberate humanity from those who instill fear, who rob a person of their personal power under threat of unemployment, withdrawal of love, or banishment from ones natural environs.  We need a gathering place where those who are part of the solution, can gather to plan and have the support of expensive tools for transformation, and needed ingredients for social change…each other and the synergy we can Co-Create; in a Creativity Cafe Edutainment Emporium.  Here's a toast to Creativity and Those who ARE CHANGING the World.

"The World Has Completely Changed"

One particular segment of Conan O'Brien's very funny interview video at Google can actually be viewed as a kind of social media marketing "case study." Conan explains howTwitter literally changed his professional life in the wake of his departure from NBC. Far from a technologist, Conan got a first hand experience of the ways in which "the world" as he says it, "has completely changed." This realization is in apparently stark contrast to how far the execs at NBC are from "getting it." And, of course, this is just one particular (but large scale) example of the dramatic changes that are upon us all due to the explosion of social media.

The depth of these changes are also underscored by a quote from the recent update to the visually dynamic and informative YouTube video, "Social Media Revolution 2 (Refresh)" from the authors of the book, "Socialnomics" which says, "Social Media is not a fad, but a fundamental shift in how we communicate." Yes, the changes are that big.

of this week's Maui Artists Showcase and Networking Event on June 20, 2008 featuring the photography and art of Creativity Cafe founder Peter H. Rosen. The show entitled THE HIGHWAY MEN chronicles the building of the improved Mokulele Highway and escape route connecting Maui's North and South coasts. The highway was raised 5 feet from below sea level where tsunami dangers would strand all not on the North shore.

The show features animation, 3D, panorama's and Quicktime Virtual Reality and will surely delight your eyes. The Happening is followed by an open Jam Session, so bring your instruments and voices for sing along songs and more. Here is a map to the event:
